C2C Phase: Project Development

A critical component during the development and construction of a new sports tourism, community recreation, or active entertainment facility is the procurement of specialty surfaces, furnishings, fixtures, and athletic equipment (FF&E) as well as operating supplies and equipment (OS&E). SFD leads our clients through FFE/OSE procurement in a process that produces savings well beyond our service fee, produces the right equipment for the best price, and results in a facility that is ready for your operator.

The procurement team at Sports Facilities Development (SFD) is comprised of facility operators, architects, construction professionals, and engineers who have tremendous insight into the sports and recreation facility process and longstanding industry relationships that allow our clients to see a significant savings on a variety of items including sport flooring, synthetic turf, sports equipment, food & beverage equipment, site furnishings, hardware, software, and other technology items.  Beginning with a facility development planning session, we guide clients with concise communication, best practices and recommendations, and remove the headache of hundreds of vendors reaching out with their sales pitch.

Our goal is to create value through savings and increased purchasing power, reduce risk and common obstacles during project development, and to create a facility that is operations-ready with equipment that enhances both operational efficiency and the guest experience.
